…sometimes it takes a long time, some times it never ends. I have been on a continual quest to become an adult. It seems now that it has become a coming-of-old-age story.
I’ve been tidying-up around the bungalow and adding to my wonderings until it became a book. As writers often do, I wanted to put it all together, get it done, place it on a shelf. Here it is now, in e-book form. Hope you enjoy my story.
I’ve added this to my kindle wish list, Susan for the next time I’m looking for a good read. I so enjoy your posts and I’m looking forward to reading about your experiences and reflections about the fine art of aging gracefully. Congratulations! Anita

Thanks so much, Anita. Getting to this age is inevitable, if we survive 🙂 , but the experience is one about which I needed to vent! You’ll perhaps recognize some of the passages, interwoven with my heartfelt complaints/hopes/wonderings. Happy and safe travels – Susan

Exciting times! I’m flattered that you still find time to come to mine, Susan. 🙂 🙂
And rather embarrassed. I still don’t possess a Kindle and my ancient laptop gave up the ghost when I was halfway through reading My Ukraine. I can’t easily recover material from it so I’m a bit stuck. Humble apologies. I will drag myself into this century at some point. 😦 😦

Reading your walks is the highlight of my Mondays, RJo! Never any apologies, especially when it comes to technology. The last trip we took I lugged around a computer and two kindles, and kept wondering why on earth I make my life so complicated! Next time, no gadgets. 🙂

Oh this is wonderful. I read all I could on Amazon and have added it to my reading list. You’re such a talented writer. I wonder if we ever “come-of age”. I feel it’s taken me also until “old-age” to get to feel like an adult.

I am so happy you think so, Alison. I truly love the phrase ‘coming-of-old-age’. It’s all a process and stating it like that makes me feel like a kid again 😉 A million thanks.

Will I have a paper copy in the future? Otherwise, I’ll have to figure out how Linda’s Kindle works.
